Fish And Vegetable Puree
Fish and Vegetable PureeIngredients:
1 cup white fish, poached, with bones and skin removed
1/2 cup sweet potato potatoes, peeled and chopped
1 zucchini, diced
1 carrot, peeled and sliced
1 tomato diced
1 tsp parsley, chopped
Step 1:Steam sweet potato and carrot pieces until cooked through, about 15 minutes.
Step 2:Add zucchini and tomato and steam a further 5 minutes.
Step 3:Add the poached fish, vegetables and parsley to a food processor or blender and mix well on high. You can add breast milk, water or formula if a smoother consistency is desired. If your baby is older you can simply mash the ingredients together.
Step 4:If preparing baby food in bulk freeze the puree into ice-cube trays or straight into Little Mashies reusable food pouches.
Step 5:To heat food inside Little Mashies reusable pouches, simply run the pouch under a stream of warm water.
