Pear And Banana Yoghurt

Pear is usually one of the first fruits reccommended by doctors because it is so uncommon for allergies and it helps soften the stool. Babies love it because it is so sweet. It is rich in simple sugars and fiber, so it is good for the digestive tract and helps with constipation. Often for those born with allergies and food intolerances peeled pear is one of the only fruits they can eat on the elimination diet. Pears can be stewed, steamed, baked, or fresh prior to being pureed for babyfood.

I’ve got loads of recipes that contain pear, in my free baby food ebook. It goes through the different stages and has baby food recipes from starting solids all the way to 12mths+ that you can use with or without Little Mashies squeeze containers.
