Apricots are extremely nutrient rich fruit for baby food. They are rich in beta carotene, vitamin C and lycopene and have the high level of iron. They act as a gentle laxative and also help in brain development. Apricots provide great flavour to otherwise bland dishes and are absolutely delicious mixed with yoghurt for breakfast, or chicken for dinner. Have you tried baking apricots before you puree them into babyfood? If not then I really suggest you give it a go... the whole family will love it!
Apricots is so awesome that I’ve done quite a few recipes containing it. Some are complicated, for older kids, and some are simple for pureed baby food. You can get it here http://littlemashies.com/free All of my recipes can be used with or without Little Mashies squeeze containers, you don’t have to buy my product to benefit from the recipe ebook, it’s just something I’ve put together after about 10,000 emails asking me to ☺ enjoy!
