Tripple Choc Semi Freddo
Our reusable silicone bags are perfect for this treat because you can freeze the mixture easily inside them and then pull out and defrost when you are ready to eat this delicious dessert!
Tripple Choc Semi Freddo
Ingredients:
250g dark chocolate, chopped
3 eggs
2 egg yolks
1/2 cup maple syrup
1 3/4 cup coconut cream, refrigerated
1/2 cup white chocolate, chopped
1/2 cup milk chocolate, chopped
Instructions:
Step 1: Place dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water and stir until melted and smooth. Set aside.
Step 2: Place the eggs, yolks and maple syrup into a heatproof bowl of simmering water and whisk for 4-5 minutes until the mixture is thick and pale.
Step 3: Remove from heat and beat with an electric mixer for 5-6 minutes until cool.
Step 4: Fold through the melted dark chocolate and set aside.
Step 5: Place the coconut cream in an electric mixer and whisk until it thickens and soft peaks form.
Step 6: Fold the egg and dark chocolate mixtures into the coconut cream and add the chopped chocolate pieces (white and milk chocolate).
Step 7: Pour the mixture into a Little mashies Reusable silicone bag (available in 500ml, 1000ml, 1500ml) and freeze over night, or until firm.
Step 8: Scoop out like ice cream and serve with garnish of choice, or pop inside Little Mashies reusable bags and freeze for a delicious snack always on hand.
