Go Green Smoothie
As your child grows, the beneficial bacteria in the gut is establishing itself and laying the foundations for a healthy immune system. Banana helps provide the prebiotics to feed them, especially greener bananas as they contain a type of fibre called resistant starch. When you add spinach to your smoothies, you are not only getting your child used to green salad and vegetables but you are giving them a food that has a host of vitamins and minerals, as well as additional fibre. Grapes contain antioxidants and can act as a natural laxative. Avocado is smooth and creamy, rich in good fats, carbohydrates and protein and it has everything that is important for the normal growth and development of central nervous system and brain.
