Apple, Apricot and Banana Puree Recipe
Apple, Apricot and Banana Puree
1 cup of apricots, seeded and diced
1 apple, peeled, cored and diced
1 banana, peeled and diced
Step 1: Steam the diced apricots and apple in a stovetop steamer or a Beaba Baby Cook system for about 10 minutes or until soft.
Step 2: Puree the cooked apple, apricots and diced banana in a food processor or blender, using a little of the cooking liquid to get a desired smooth consistency (2 tablespoons). You can also use breast milk or formula to mix with the puree.
If you wish to use Little Mashies to feed your bubba baby food whilst out and about (or just save money or have the convenience of a pouch), just go to my online store here. If you are in America you will get Little Mashies much cheaper via USA Amazon by clicking here. Id love if you could please leave me a review as I have hundreds from my website purchases but because I’m new on Amazon I have barely any on there!
Ps - I’d love if you could please SHARE Little Mashies with your friends. Word of mouth is how my business grows and it also allows me to help as many people as possible. My goal is to show all parents how cheap and easy it is to make healthy baby food at home.
Lots of love,
Talisha and Ariella (the mum and bub behind Little Mashies)
Apples are great choice for one of your babies first fruit purees. They are full of nutrients and rich in two types of fibre – soluble and insoluble. They are easy to prepare and easy to digest, and babies just love them in any food combination because of their sweet taste. When making your own home made baby food with apples remember they can be prepared in different ways to provide alternative textures and tastes. Apples can be baked or steamed, and they can even be mixed with spices such as nutmeg or cinnamon. In dinner meals apple is great mixed with pork, and I've even had it successfully with turkey and lamb.
I have many amazing recipes that contain apples - you can get all my recipes now in a printable format by going to http://littlemashies.com.au/free
