Beet, Blueberry and Banana Puree
Beet, Blueberry and Banana PureeIngredients:
1 ripe banana (200g)
1 cup of blueberry
Step 1:Peel and chop beet into small pieces the size of a thumbnail.
Step 2:Bring water to a boil in pan over medium heat. Add the beet to a steamer basket and cook for 15-20 minutes.
Step 3:Add the blueberries to the beet and cook for a further 5 minutes.
Step 4:Puree beet, blueberries and banana in a food processor or blender, using a little of the cooking liquid to get a desired smooth consistency (2 tablespoons). You can also use breast milk or formula to mix with the puree.
